Many restaurants in Bordeaux offer a 3 course meal for 20-24 with a choice of 3 for each course. With the choices being nearly the same for each restaurant. Le Grill Bordelais offers this as well, however with a more extensive menu offering many choices. On top of this you get very cordial owners and staff to make the dinning experience quite pleasant. We really enjoyed our meal at Le Grill Bordelais and will certainly go back.

Probably our favorite restaurant in Bordeaux during our short stay.The service is incredibly friendly, the restaurant offers plenty of options for meat lovers and the wine list is really good.We had magret de canard and entrecôte with duck fat fries, and it was succulent.We'll come back the first opportunity we have!

Wonderfully friendly and warm staff, very happy to make suggestions and recommendations, go with what they suggest, we had the best steak in Bordeaux! Beautifully cooked, no issues asking for an "Irish" medium rare! Instead we got told they often use Irish Angus Beef!The frites were crisp, golden and fluffy inside and the wine simply sublime!Don't miss out!

We had a very pleasant surprise with this place.We ended up having dinner in this place in one of our days in Bordeaux and the food and service was excellent!Will definitely be back!

The food was fantastic. Though it is in a touristy area, they clearly take care to use quality ingredients and careful techniques. I had the goat cheese salad and the butcher’s piece, but I overheard others say how happy they were with their meals too. So, I think you’d be happy no matter what you get. The service was possibly the friendliest I’ve ever had in Europe. The space is very nice. But they are in a “newer” area and that changes the atmosphere but they shouldn’t be penalized for that too much. Especially since I might not have found them if they weren’t were they are. I just tend to prefer old, weathered spaces. But the food tasted like it belonged there anyway.
